Loneliness (White January)

Hi! How are you doing today?

Do you post stuff on Threads, which is an app similar to Twitter?

I've been trying to use it but I must say that it's a bit complicated hahhahaahh

I mean, it's similar to Twitter, which was supposed to post short messages and some pictures or videos.

But it seems more like a "personal journal" which is open to be read by everyone all over the world.

This is not criticism, it's just my point of view haha

I have to say that reading people's "journal" is very interesting. They open their hearts and post their thoughts about anything and everything and I've read fantastic stories! And others that were not so cool.

Unlike Instagram, on Threads people sound more real. People being people and not a fake person pretending that life os all flowers and no thorns.

I've found something similar among those stories I've read. Most of them were alll about how lonely people are feeling. Sometimes they're not alone but the feeling of loneliness is something that sounds like "pandemic".

It's not just in one place, it's worldwide!

Loneliness is affecting men and women at all ages!

Is there a cure for that? Or is it something that we will have to deal for the rest of our lives?

I think there are people who can deal with loneliness very well, at least it's what they show.

Have you ever felt lonely?

Sometimes we feel lonely because we don't share our feelings with anyone else, and sometimes we feel lonely even when we have someone to share our feelings with.

There are more than 8 billion people all over the world. There are 83 million single people in Brazil (my country). I cannot assume that they are alone, they might have someone to share life with. But how many of them don't feel lonely?

Is loneliness a state of mind? Or is it something that your heart is crying out to get rid of?

Is loneliness a side effect of traumas we pass through our lives?

Has it been a big problem in our lives?

I guess each one of us will have different answers for those questions above because we live differently, we feel differently.

Sometimes we find similarities among people but if that was simpler, maybe there wouldn't be so many lonely people around the world.

In January we focus on Mental Health. We call it White January. And I hope that your mental health doesn't feel affected by loneliness. I mean, you can find something you feel connected to and start having fun with yourself doing that and then feel more open and secure to meet other people and creat some bonding.

I'm not saying that you will find the love of your life (and it doesn't mean that you won't feel lonely anymore!), but I'm saying that the state of mind can change and it might be lighter, happier and brighter!

Thinking of the possibility of being more creative, can grow the opportunities you may find wherever you go to and whoever you are with (being with your own company also counts!).

Don't let your bright side fades! Let it shine as ever!

If loneliness bother you, it's a good sign!

Ok, I explain! It means that you have the power to change this feeling! It means that you are alive and LIFE is telling you that you are strong enough to surpass the difficulties you are facing! You are ALIVE! It' not and end, it's the BEGINNING!

You may feel lonely but your are NOT ALONE!

Stay safe!

xx

Texto atualíssimo.

Em determinadas fases ser só é escolha.

Mas nem sempre é solidão.

Cada dia nos sentimos de um jeito.

E toda posição pode ser mudada.
